About

Born From Love. Built to Carry Hope.

Our Story

The Light We Carry Foundation began with two little girls whose lives continue to shape everything we do.

In 2021, our daughter Caia was stillborn just days before her due date. In May 2026, we unexpectedly lost our beautiful 15-month-old daughter, Cambrie.

Our family learned that grief does not end when the funeral is over. It continues through birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, ordinary mornings, and every moment a child should still be present.

We also learned how powerful it is when someone remembers, reaches out, helps carry a financial burden, or simply says a child’s name.

Rather than allowing our daughters’ stories to end with loss, we chose to let their light continue helping others.

The Light We Carry Foundation exists so families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and child loss feel seen, supported, and remembered.

Our Mission

The Light We Carry Foundation provides hope, practical support, and lasting remembrance to families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, child loss, and the lifelong journey of grief.

What We Believe

Every child matters.

Every family's story deserves to be honored.

Grief should not be carried alone.

Love and remembrance continue long after loss.
